 Abdominal - Sacral Massage Practitioners Course

8 Day Workshop

 

This 8-day course is designed to enable the practitioner to feel confident to specialise in Fertility, Digestion & Women’s Health from a Holistic perspective. The course will teach you how to safely perform the Abdominal-Sacral Massage on your clients, offering a unique and powerful massage that can be used as a stand alone treatment or incorporated into other therapies.

 

On completion you will have:

  • a better understanding of where the abdominal organs are, the roles and pathologies

  • how to massage the uterus to aid circulation and improve ligament restrictions

  • how to massage the intestines to aid digestion and elimination

  • how to massage the sacrum to aid circulation and nervous system function

  • how to massage around the coccyx to improve ligament restrictions

  • how to powerfully integrate deep tissue, visceral and acupressure techniques to facilitate successful and productive bodywork treatment for both men and women

  • A thorough understanding of the Menstrual Cycle and Digestive System.

  • Confidence to teach your clients awareness about Fertility to avoid or achieve pregnancy. 

 

Course Dates:

The first Australian 8 day practitioners course will be held at the end of February/Early March 2010.

This will be held in Bellingen, Mid North Coast, NSW

Price: $1200 (excluding accomodation)

You can attend a one day workshop in either Abdominal Massage or the Self Help Massage prior to enrolling on the 8 day course, The cost of the one day workshop will be deducted from the practitioners course fee.

1-Day Abdominal Massage Workshop

  This 1-day practical class is open to therapists who would like to feel more confident massaging the abdomen and learn how to massage the intestines to aid optimal health. It is also a time of nurturing and empowerment for you as an individual. Attendees in the past have gone away feeling much more knowledgeable and empowered about their own bodies and, in some cases, clear of old emotional traumas. This workshop is esepcially beneficial to Colonic Therapists.

1-Day Fertility Awareness Workshop

This 1-day class will help you to learn how to recognise your own individual pattern of fertility and infertility by gaining an understanding of your menstrual cycle and an awareness of your own natural fertile signs. A chance to discuss fertility issues and discover natural methods to assist fertility.  You will also discover the importance of preparing your body for pregnancy, and how that can increase your fertility success rate and health of your baby. This workshop is open to anyone.

1-Day Self-Help Workshop

In this 1-day class you will be taught a simple belly massage to perform on yourself to aid digestion and improve circulation to the reproductive organs.  It is also a time of nurturing and empowerment for you as an individual; issues such as digestive problems, constipation, bad period pains, fibroids, fertility etc… can be discussed within the class to give a better understanding of your body. This workshop is open to anyone.

2 hours - Conscious Conception

Preparing for Pregnancy

If you had the choice to Nurture your new baby in a clean and healthy environment or an unhealthy environment, one full of toxins and disruptive hormones – what would be your choice? This workshop covers the importance of preparing your body for pregnancy, and how we can improve our new babies home in our womb.
